The Way of the Wild is returning for its 3rd year, in a new home on over 100 acres in Wakefield, Quebec.
Join us for the New Moon in August for 3 days steeped in Ancient Feminine Wisdom, Community, & Wild Women Ways.
deepening our roots
Way of the Wild began as a vision to build stronger connections and community among Women three years ago and it has grown into so much more than its original roots of a women’s festival.
Unlike any other festival or Women’s gathering, this is a slow, intentional journey together as ONE woven tapestry, guided by the intuitive New Moon energy, offering us space to slow down, and connect, to be present, and to anchor into the beginning of Harvest Season.
We weave our medicine together through 4 Ceremonies, each anchoring us into a season of womanhood. The wild, untamed landscape of the land that holds us provides a space to nourish our bodies, listen deeply to our inner feminine wisdom, and root ourselves into the natural cycles and rhythms of Mother Earth alongside a powerful circle of Women.
There is only one thing going on at a time, so there is no need to rush from place to place or worry about missing out, and our nervous systems get a true sense of slowing down, while being immersed in our unique village of Women.
Sacred Feminine Ceremonies
We embark on a journey inward, descending and rising together as one magically woven tapestry, held by the medicine of 4 Ceremonies and their Guides. The Guides work together to co-create each Ceremony, calling in Ancient Feminine Wisdom and celebrating Women in all seasons of life. Each Ceremony is unique and attuned to the energy of the group and the collective. The New Moon energy reflects to us the contrast of dark/light , death and rebirth, and what we need to see, providing clarity and healing.
Marketplace
Returning for the 3rd year is our Marketplace offering Wildcrafted Artisanal Products, Art, Music, Tattooing, Massage & Energy Healing. The Marketplace brings so much to the gathering, a space to connect, support local Women in their livelihood and passion projects, and get inspired for harvest season. The Marketplace weaves around the Ceremonies, so that all Women in attendance can partake and be present, and so the Marketplace has its own space to thrive.
Community
This is the dance of the Sacred Feminine rising together. A Community of Women that continues long after closing Ceremony, the branches continue to grow and seed new beginnings, deepening the roots for stronger connections back home. Women from all lineages come together to share their wisdom and traditions with each other, to be held and witnessed. Community reminds us of the Sacred work we are here to do and offers a reclamation of ancestral ways of being together as Women.

Magic happens when women gather in sacred spaces. Ceremony is in our bones; removing masks, letting go of performance, and simply Being together, We dance, sing, move our bodies, breathe, and shake off the old, creating space for the new to emerge.
There are 4 ceremonies from Friday – Sunday, each one taking us on a journey deeper inside, guided by New Moon energy of renewal and re-birth; providing a space where we can give to ourselves in a way that feels deeply nourishing and supportive.

Way of the Wild is held on over 100 acres of lush forest with walking trails, rolling meadows, and a pristine lake for swimming, near Wakefield, Quebec. This is a place where Wild lives on and is deeply aligned with the vision for this gathering. The land teaches us how to care for her and reminds us how to live in reciprocity.
Way of the Wild is rooted in an ancient eco-system of reciprocity. collaboration, connection, and community. it is a space of letting go of old ways of being, free of shame, judgement, and oppressive systems.
Attendees bring their tents and unplug during this off-grid experience. this year more than ever we are encouraging and embracing being tech-free. there are few spaces in today’s world where we can be in large groups and without cell phones or electronics around. providing our nervous systems with a reset.

Any woman attending can bring a table and her own 10×10 tent for the marketplace area. This is included with your pass at no additional energy exchange. If a tent is required, there is a $111 additional fee. Please check the marketplace box below in the form and indicate whether you require a tent or will bring your own.
